Community

Detrain International Logistics conducts operations throughout the world, interacting with a diverse group of nationalities, cultures, traditions and customs. Whilst Detrain Logistics operates on a global scale, it is how we as a company conduct ourselves on a community level that will be the true measure of our business success. By building strong relationships with local companies within the communities we operate, we believe the result will be superior business performance and long term sustainability of the local community.

Detrain International Logistics unique blend of Western and Eastern ownership makes for a truly multicultural organisation that understands the importance of local content and engagement. Detrain Logistics always seek to engage with reputable local contractors in a hope that by engaging with them will result in positive outcomes for our business and the local community.

Engaging indigenous organisations is critical to the success of our operation around the world. We also consider Indigenous People in many parts of the world have been historically disadvantaged and often still experience poverty and other forms of social exclusion. Through our engagement with these groups we seek to contribute to their sustainable economic growth, empowerment, social development needs and cultural well-being. An example of this is in the North West of Australia, Detrain Logistics takes every opportunity to work with contractors who actively promote indigenous employment and participation. This strategy reached a milestone in 2015 when Detrain Logistics reached a strategic agreement with indigenous owned to operated Kuthra Cranes.
